Bulldog summer camps underway

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland University athletics camps are in full swing as several different programs began working with campers over the last several weeks.


Athletics set to honor Bulldog scholar-athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland Athletics will host the Third Annual Scholar-Athlete Recognition Day with a breakfast for 132 current students at Immanuel Baptist Church on Friday, April 25. Current Bulldog student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average with at least 30 credit hours passed before the spring semester.


Volleyball promotes fitness at Byars Dowdy Roar Run

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland volleyball players joined the cause to help promote fitness for kids and the community by volunteering at the Byars Dowdy Roar Run, a 5k run/walk at College Hills Church of Christ on Saturday.


Football donates blood with American Red Cross

Wrestlers work at Nashville Rescue Mission

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland wrestling team faced an early morning on November 13 in aid of a strong cause. The squad left the Cumberland campus at 3:15 a.m. to travel to the Nashville Rescue Mission to help prepare food for a service project.


Bulldogs help build homes for Habitat for Humanity

Hall of Fame class of 2013 inducted

LEBANON, Tenn. – Two individuals and the 1988 Cumberland baseball team were inducted into the Cumberland Hall of Fame on October 11 at the annual Hall of Fame dinner. Former basketball player Becky King Weber and former basketball player and coach Tommy Smith joined the team as the 2013 class.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland student-athletes took some time to give back to the Lebanon community Friday, as more than 50 players visited Sam Houston Elementary to share wisdom on college life and offer tips in their respective sports at the Sports Spectacular.
