Cumberland participates in Sam Houston's PAWS Day

LEBANON, Tenn. – Several Cumberland University athletic teams took time out of their training schedules to participate in Sam Houston Elementary’s annual PAWS day where the students were able to choose from a variety of activities ranging from sports to cooking to Zumba.


CU baseball visits LSSD Pre-K

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland baseball took part in a community service effort recently at the Lebanon Special School District Pre-K class that is held on the CU campus, playing games and socializing with the children behind Justin Potter Residence Hall.

Winter, fall sports take part in community service outings

Winter, spring athletes go through Leadership Training

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University student-athletes in winter and spring sports participated in Leadership Training on Saturday, August 29 that included lectures from deans within the University, sessions on sexual assault, social media training and nutrition as well as eligibility.


Fall sports take part in community service projects

LEBANON, Tenn. – All six Cumberland fall sports teams that reported to campus this week took part in community service activities around town on Thursday, including a Red Cross blood drive, helping at the Wilson County Community Center, Next Step Resource Center and Habitat for Humanity, and a trip to Cedarcroft Home.


Athletic Staff gives back to campus community

LEBANON, Tenn. – More than 50 Cumberland University Athletic Staff members participated in a community service day on campus last week, sweeping and painting parking lots and mulching around buildings before student-athletes report this week.
