Craft, Hill, Madut all win events at Lindsey Wilson Invite

LEBANON, Tenn. -- Danielle Craft won the triple jump for the women while Jordan Hill and Garang Madut each picked up victories in the 800-meters and 10,000-meters, respectively, for the men, leading the Cumberland track and field teams at the Lindsey Wilson Invitational over the weekend in Columbia, Ky.

Lindsey Wilson completes series sweep of baseball

LEBANON, Tenn. – Jayden Jackson’s three-run homer in the fifth helped Lindsey Wilson overcome an early deficit in a 6-4 victory in the opener and Steven Paredes drove in four runs in an 8-1 LWC win in the second game, helping the Blue Raiders complete a three-game sweep over Cumberland on Friday at Egnew Park in Columbia, Ky.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Jayden Jackson posted two hits and five RBIs, including a grand slam in the fifth inning, and James Doubet scattered eight hits in a complete game, helping Lindsey Wilson to an 8-3 victory over Cumberland in the first of a three-game series Thursday night at Egnew Park in Columbia, Ky.

CU's Kambeitz named Saskatchewan Female Athlete of the Year

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland goalkeeper Ashley Kambeitz was named the Saskatchewan Soccer Association Female Athlete of the Year for 2016 during the SSA’s annual Technical & Recognition Awards earlier this month. The night was held in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Soccer Association's 2017 annual meeting.

REMINDER: CU accepting nominations for 2017 Hall of Fame class

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland University Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the Class of 2017 Sports Hall of Fame until Monday, April 3. Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other pertinent information about the nominee. The 2017 Hall of Fame dinner is set for Friday, October 6, at 6 p.m. in Baird Chapel.
