Men's Volleyball Split in Final Day of Cumberland Classic

LEBANON, Tenn.- The Phoenix split on day two of the Cumberland classic as they were able to record a sweep against Judson University but came up short against Lourdes College Wolves, as the Wolves won the match in three sets.

Belmont sweeps Cumberland women's tennis

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Belmont swept the doubles and won all six singles outings in straight sets in a 7-0 victory over Cumberland in women’s tennis action Saturday in Nashville.

Phoenix finish tough week with a loss at No. 1 Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Ky.- The No. 1 team in the NAIA, Georgetown showed Cumberland why they were the highest ranked team from the opening tip. The Tigers shot 65% from the field and hit 15 threes against Cumberland to take the victory in conference action, 116-74.

Women's hoops loses a heartbreaker to Georgetown, 78-75

GEORGETOWN, Ky.- Cumberland and Georgetown went neck and neck in the fourth quarter trading baskets the entire way down the stretch until the Tigers found Michaela Kennedy on the right wing for a three ball with two seconds left to win, 78-75.

Three Phoenix wrestlers rank at Missouri Valley Invite

LEBANON, Tenn.--Cumberland made a strong showing at the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, Mo., scoring well enough to rank 14th in 48 team which included many of the best squads in the NAIA. The high ranker for the Phoenix was Nathan Walton, finishing third at 174, while Keshawn Laws (141) and Carter Cox (125) rounded out the placers for the Phoenix at sixth and eighth in their weight classes, respectively.

Men's Volleyball Split in Day One of Cumberland Classic

LEBANON, Tenn.- Christian Lester posted 16 kills, Mason Chambers collected 15, Brian Hogg registered 27 assists and 10 digs and Jordan Pierce with 21 assist in Cumberland’s 3-2 victory over Indiana Tech for the first match of the season in the Phoenix Men’s Volleyball Classic in Lebanon, Tennessee.
