LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland Athletics announced its 2013 Gameday events this week, which includes Thank-a-Teacher Day, Champions Day, Hall of Fame Weekend and a canned food drive. CU will honor the 1993 football team on October 5 on the 20th anniversary of the program’s only NAIA playoff appearance.

NAIA honors 13 Bulldog programs

LEBANON, Tenn. – A record 13 Cumberland University programs were honored as NAIA Scholar Teams over the weekend. Teams must post a minimum 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution and the team GPA includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
