LEBANON, Tenn. – Josh Faley and Brendon Schwartze registered 11 kills apiece for Fontbonne University, offsetting Cumberland’s balanced attack in a 3-0 victory for the Griffins here Saturday in men’s volleyball action at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.

Bluefield too much for CU men in first-ever match

LEBANON, Tenn. – Christian Lester posted eight kills and Angel Acevedo Reyes added seven, but Bluefield College countered with 12 kills from Alberto Chiaparini and 26 assists by Chaz Franqui, holding off Cumberland in the final two sets in the inaugural match for the Phoenix men’s volleyball program here Friday night at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena.

Fall 2018 Dean's List includes 148 student-athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University released the list for Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester over the Christmas break, with 148 student-athletes and athletic trainers earning a 3.50 grade-point-average or better for the semester on all classes attempted.

Men's volleyball hosting 2019 Off the Block Grow the Game Challenge

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s volleyball will host and participate in the 2019 Off the Block Grow the Game Challenge set for January 18-20 at Dallas Floyd Phoenix Arena. CU hosting 4th Annual All-Sports Camp on Sept. 9

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University and the Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce Sports Council are teaming up for the 4th Annual All Sports Camp for Wilson County residents ages 7-14 on Sunday, September 9 from 3-5 p.m. on the CU campus. Registration starts at 2 p.m. that day.
