GEORGETOWN, Ky.- The No. 1 team in the NAIA, Georgetown showed Cumberland why they were the highest ranked team from the opening tip. The Tigers shot 65% from the field and hit 15 threes against Cumberland to take the victory in conference action, 116-74.
CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.- The Phoenix had an eight point lead with four minutes to play, but CU fell into a scoring drought that allowed Thomas More to take the lead late and get their first Mid-South Conference win, 60-57.
LEBANON, Tenn.- DeMari Davis went for 22 points and Jalen Duke posted another double-digit scoring night, but it was not enough as the Phoenix fell cold in the final five minutes of the game and dropped a conference loss to the University of the Cumberlands, 80-69.

The game is does not go on the win-loss record for Cumberland, but the Phoenix have dropped five straight games including three exhibition games versus Chattanooga, Murray State and Union.
MURRAY, Ky.- Tevin Brown went for 24 points and Racer’s big men Demond Robinson and Anthony Smith added 16 and 15 a piece as Murray State routed Cumberland in an exhibition match for the Phoenix, 81-46.
