Five baseball players named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

LEWISTON, Idaho – Five Cumberland baseball players were named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the national office. Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average or above to meet the requirements. First-year student-athletes at an institution are not eligible for the award as well.
 
Cumberland seniors Briggs Dixson, Adrian Mull and Shawn Schaefer along with junior Matt Vance and redshirt sophomore Brett Schultz were all honored by the NAIA. A total of 196 student-athletes were recognized by the national office among 208 baseball-playing schools.
