LEBANON, Tenn. – The second-ranked Cumberland University baseball team has altered its schedule for this weekend’s TranSouth Conference series against Lyon College due to expected thunderstorms in the middle Tennessee area, moving all three games up one day. The Bulldogs will now play a doubleheader on Friday at 1 p.m. with a single game Saturday at noon, weather permitting.

This marks the third consecutive series that has been affected by weather as Cumberland’s final game of the three-game set against Martin Methodist College last weekend before pushing a doubleheader versus Milligan College from Tuesday to Wednesday.

The Bulldogs (41-8) lead the TranSouth standings by two games over Union University with two conference series remaining on the schedule.
