LEBANON, Tenn. – Former Cumberland player Luis Martinez was traded to the Texas Rangers just before Christmas in exchange for a minor league pitcher, as announced by the Rangers on the team website. Martinez, who appeared in 22 games for the Padres last season, has been placed on the 40-man roster.
