Baseball leads Mid-South with 13 Scholar-Athletes

KINGSPORT, Tenn. – A total of 13 Cumberland baseball players were named Mid-South Conference Scholar-Athletes during the pretournament banquet this week for the MSC Championships. Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average or above to be eligible for the award.

A total of 69 student-athletes were honored from the 11 Mid-South Conference schools, with Cumberland posting the most awards winners. Campbellsville University was second with 11.
