CU sports live video, audio, stats information

LEBANON, Tenn. – With Cumberland Athletics unofficially kicking off the 2016-17 academic year with tonight’s home football game, a little review for everyone and new information for first-timers about the live video, audio and stats links for CU sports teams.

Cumberland Athletics uses a Game Central portal from Stretch Internet (https://portal.stretchinternet.com/cu/) to stream live video and audio for all home athletic events for volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, football, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling (dual meets only), baseball and softball.

The live video and audio may be accessed from any computer or mobile device through the Game Central portal. The first time that you sign-up, you may be asked to enter a small bit of personal information. If you are watching the video, you DO NOT need to also click the audio link. If there is audio available for the contest, it will come across with the video. The audio and video links are not synced together.

If the live video for that sport is pay-per-view (soccer, basketball, baseball, football), you must enter personal and credit card information and will also set-up a username and password for future log-ins to those events.

Live audio is always free and available for all football games, all home and conference basketball contests, almost every baseball game and most home softball contests.

Other Cumberland athletic events may show-up on the portal that are produced by schools in the Mid-South Conference or other institutions that use Stretch Internet for their live broadcasts. The opposing team’s announcers will be part of this broadcast for the live video, so keep that in mind when you tune in. Again the live video and the Cumberland audio feed are not synced and may be off 15-30 seconds.

For all of the above sports except wrestling, live stats are available through the Game Central portal as well and are accessible from any computer or mobile device. There is also a separate live stats feed through StatBroadcast.com, a company used by the NCAA and a huge majority of Division I institutions for their media stats during games.

Questions and issues concerning the Game Central portal MUST be directed to Stretch Internet at support@stretchinternet.com.
