Phoenix shifting mid-week games because of rain

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland baseball has shifted mid-week games due to torrential rain Sunday evening and through the night as well as lingering light rain Monday, leaving Ernest L. Stockton Field-Woody Hunt Stadium unplayable.

Tuesday’s contest against Freed-Hardeman has been canceled and will not be made-up. The Phoenix and Lions meet in a single game in Henderson next Monday.

Cumberland will now play a doubleheader Wednesday against Brescia University beginning at 2 p.m.

The Phoenix play their final road Mid-South Conference series of the season this weekend at Campbellsville University.
