CU accepting nominations for 2019 Sports Hall of Fame class

LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland University Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the Class of 2019 Sports Hall of Fame until Monday, April 1. Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other pertinent information about the nominee.


Bell places 17th for CU bowling in Cincinnati

LEBANON, Tenn. – Junior Peyton Bell finished 17th and sophomore Jarred Bradshaw placed 73rd for Cumberland bowling at the Cincinnati Collegiate Classic at Western Bowl in Cincinnati, Ohio, on January 26-27, the final Mid-South Conference event of the season before the league tournament in February.


Fall 2018 Dean's List includes 148 student-athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University released the list for Dean’s List for the Fall 2018 semester over the Christmas break, with 148 student-athletes and athletic trainers earning a 3.50 grade-point-average or better for the semester on all classes attempted.


Charlton places 39th for bowlers at Lehigh Valley

LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Matthew Charlton placed 39th and sophomore Jarred Bradshaw finished 58th for Cumberland bowling at the Lehigh Valley Classic on December 29-30 in Allentown, Pa.


Wezel, Bradshaw lead bowlers at Southern Classic

Bowling picked eighth for men, ninth for women in MSC poll

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s bowling was picked eighth and the women were selected ninth in the Mid-South Conference Coaches’ Preseason Poll released recently by the league office.
