LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s women finished sixth as a team, with senior Danielle Chaffin placing 14th individually, while senior John Isaac Davis led the men’s team in 26th over the weekend at the Southern Kentucky Collegiate Classic in Bowling Green, Ky.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Danielle Chaffin finished 11th and sophomore Chase Midgett placed 14th for the Cumberland bowling teams in the opening event of the fall over the weekend at the Green River Classic in Campbellsville, Ky.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University student-athletes in winter and spring sports participated in Leadership Training on Saturday, August 29 that included lectures from deans within the University, sessions on sexual assault, social media training and nutrition as well as eligibility.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2015 Spring Dean’s List recently, which includes 100 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.

LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and ten current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 173rd Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall on the CU campus.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Jenn Fitzgibbons finished eighth in women’s singles and Anh Nguyen placed 28th in singles while the Cumberland men’s and women’s teams lost their first two matches in the team competition at the Mid-South Conference Bowling Championships this past weekend in Bowling Green, Ky.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University Director of Athletics Ron Pavan announced the hiring of Lynne Jordan as the school’s men’s and women’s bowling coach effective immediately. Jordan has spent the last four seasons as the boys and girls bowling coach at Lebanon High School.
