Athletes place in FOCUS Art Competition

LEBANON, Tenn. – Adrian Baker won first place in the two-dimensional category and Charles Brooks, Deonta Johnson and Kyle Upton were all named honorable mention during the 14th Annual Focus On CU Students (FOCUS) Art Competition currently on display at Adams Gallery on the CU campus.


Student-athlete murals on display at CU

LEBANON, Tenn. – Four Cumberland University student-athletes were part of a group of art majors that created six recently-displayed murals in the Papa John’s Pizza restaurant in the Mitchell Student Center on the CU campus.


Bulldogs end regular season, prepare for national qualifiers

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland bowling placed 10th in the men’s division and eighth in the women’s division in the Striking Knights Classic at AMF Rose Bowl North in Louisville, Ky., on November 20.


Bowlers take sixth at Southern Collegiate Classic

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland bowling placed sixth in the men’s division and tied for 11th in the women’s division, in its first Tier 1 tournament of the season at the Brunswick Southern Collegiate Classic at Brunswick Zone in Marietta, Ga., on November 16.


Chaffin places 15th at Orange & Black Classic

LEBANON, Tenn. – DJ Chaffin led the way with a 211 average over six games and Lauren Adams bowled a 178, as the Cumberland men’s and women’s bowling team both placed in the top 20 at the Orange and Black Classic at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek, Ohio, on October 16.


Shipp claims sixth place at Brickyard Classic

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s bowling team completed its second tournament of the season with 10th and 15th place finishes in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively, last weekend at the Brickyard Classic at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, Ind.


Bowlers finish second in first fall event
