Cumberland is committed to abiding by all rules and regulations of the NAIA and the Mid-South Conference as they relate to all aspects of its athletic program. Compliance with these rules and regulations requires the effort of everyone associated with an institution’s athletics program and requires a shared responsibility for the education of and compliance with national, conference and University policies and procedures.

The mission of the athletic department is to promote an environment of compliance in conjunction with rules and regulations set forth by the NAIA and the Mid-South Conference rules and regulations. Cumberland University will advance the Principle of Institutional Control through extensive rules education, open communication, thorough monitoring and self-reporting.
