Cumberland University Compliance Office

Cumberland University (CU) is currently in the application process for NCAA Division II. Contingent upon acceptance into the three-year membership process, it is vital that all members of the University, its alumni, boosters and friends comply with pertinent NCAA Rules and Regulations.

Cumberland is committed to abiding by all rules and regulations of the national governing body and conference as they relate to all aspects of its athletic program. Compliance with these rules and regulations requires the effort of everyone associated with an institution’s athletics program and requires a shared responsibility for the education of and compliance with national, conference and University policies and procedures.

The mission of the athletic department's compliance office is to promote an environment of compliance in conjunction with rules and regulations set forth by the NAIA, NCAA, and conference rules and regulations. Cumberland University Compliance will advance the NCAA Principle of Institutional Control through extensive rules education, open communication, thorough monitoring and self-reporting.

If there is ever a question, always "Ask Before You Act".
