LEBANON, Tenn. – Tanner Hurst finished second in the criterium, Britton Kinnard placed second in the road race and the Cumberland men were second in the team time trial, leading the Bulldog cycling team at the Seminole Classic last weekend in Tallahassee, Fla.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s seventh-ranked cycling team kicked off the 2013 road season at Georgia Southern in Statesboro, Ga., on February 16-17, with Ryan Sullivan posting a pair of Top 5 finishes and Morganne Endicott placing sixth in two races.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s cycling team is ranked seventh nationally in the USA Collegiate Division I rankings after three national championship events. The team has finished eighth in track, No. 12 in mountain bike and ninth in cyclocross at this academic year’s national events.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s cycling team completed competition at the Cyclocross National Championships in Madison, Wis., last weekend after participating in the Mountain Bike Championships in Angel Fire, N.M., and the Track National Championships in Frisco, Texas, last fall.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Four Cumberland cycling team members – Morganne Endicott, Kyrstin Bluhm, Tanner Hurst and Logan Luker – all completed in the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships recently in Angel Fire, N.M., a resort that sits 8,500-feet above sea level, but the racing reaches as high as 10,000-feet.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s cycling team was notified this week of its acceptance to Division 1 in USA Cycling Collegiate, a step-up for the program that begins its ninth season of competition next weekend after posting its most successful campaign ever in 2011-12.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s cycling program will participate in the Wounded Warrior Project’s 2011 Soldier Ride this Saturday, September 24, in Nashville. Ten CU team members and head coach Tim Hall will ride in the event to help honor and empower the nation’s wounded warriors and raise funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Cumberland University cycling is riding a wave of success with their No. 3 ranking in Division 2 of collegiate cycling despite missing a key ingredient – a women’s team. Head coach Tim Hall has been working to overcome that obstacle, as recruiting and developing a women’s team is his top priority for the 2011-12 academic year.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Alejandro Padilla finished third and fifth while Ben Salibra placed fourth and sixth in a pair of races and Cumberland compiled eight Top 10 finishes in last week’s cyclocross event held at King College in Bristol, Tenn. It was the first-ever cyclocross event in which Cumberland competed.

LEBANON, Tenn. – USA Cycling released updated national rankings this week and Cumberland University is currently ranked No. 1 nationally in Division II. This marks the first No. 1 national ranking in program history. The Bulldogs will carry that distinction until the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships set for December 8-10 in Bend, Ore.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Logan Luker placed 12th in cross country and senior Alejandro Padilla finished 12th in 4-cross, leading Cumberland to at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships. The team also experienced 3.1 magnitude earthquake before returning to Tennessee.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Seniors Alejandro Padilla and Jeremy Chambers along with freshman Logan Luker all have earned invitational to the USA Cycling Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships this weekend in Truckee, Calif.
