Katie Arnold enters her fifth year as an assistant athletic trainer and her seventh overall at Cumberland University after serving two years as a graduate assistant. Arnold took over as the Director of the Athletic Training Educational Program (ATEP) in January 2013. She is responsible for overseeing the prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries for the wrestling program as well as teaching classes in the ATEP.
Arnold has overseen the athletic training for wrestling since 2006 and has served as the athletic trainer for men's and women's tennis and men's soccer since 2009. During her tenure she has also worked with the football and men's and women's golf programs. (2008-09).
Prior to becoming the assistant athletic trainer, Arnold earned a bachelor’s in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training in 2006 from CU. She also received a master’s in Education in 2008 from Cumberland.
The Jacksboro, Tenn., is single and resides in Lebanon.
