Nov. 14, 2007 -- The MidSouth Conference has announced the 2007 All-Conference selections, and Cumberland University is well-represented. Coming off an outstanding 35-34 come-from-behind win over Belhaven College to finish the 2007 season, the good news for the Bulldogs continues.

Josh Beasley (OL), Robert Durham (DL), Melvin Armstrong (LB) and Matt Hickmann (DB) were named MSC 1st Team All-Conference, while Josh Crouch (WR) and Matt Boles (LB) have been selected as MSC Honorable Mention.

Cumberland finished strong this season, winning two of its last three regular-season games for the first time since the 1995 season.

"We are excited about the direction our program is heading in," second-year CU Coach Dewayne Alexander said. "We have a great nucleus of young players with outstanding talent and look to improve in the off-season as well as with quality recruits."
