Travecedo garners second MSC weekly honor

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Pablo Dongarra Travecedo collected his second Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday, connecting on five extra points plus a field goal in a 38-24 win over Webber International, as announced by the league office.

The Guayaquil, Ecuador, native made a 22-yard field goal for Cumberland’s first points of the contest and added five extra points in the victory. He has made as many field goals (2) in three games this season as CU made in 11 contests in 2016. Travecedo remained perfect on PATs this year as well, upping his mark to 14-for-14, and recorded his first touchback of the season on kickoffs.

Cumberland plays at Edward Waters College this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. CT in Jacksonville, Fla.
