LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Terry Tiller posted seven tackles with a forced fumble in Saturday’s victory at Kentucky Christian, garnering Mid-South Conference Bluegrass Division Defensive Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office.

The Chattanooga, Tenn., native posted four solo stops and forced a fumble in the second quarter that CU recovered. The senior safety added three of the team’s 11 pass break-ups in the contest, as Kentucky Christian tossed 52 passes and ran 91 plays in the game.

Tiller ranks second on the club with 64 tackles and leads the Phoenix with 10.5 tackles for loss this year. He has added 3.0 sacks, nine pass break-ups and two forced fumbles through 10 games.
