Toliver and White Selected to Inaugural Senior Football Classic

LEBANON, Tenn.-- Cumberland University will have two representatives at the Inaugural Senior Football Classic as Aaron White and Denarius Toliver have been selected for the roster. There are 116 players representing 42 schools that will be separated into east and west teams for the new All-Star game.

Aaron White has recorded 124 tackles in his three years at CU so far with 46 of them coming unassisted. Last season he registered his best statistical season with 56 tackles with 7.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks along with five quarterback hurries and two forced fumbles in 11 outings. White earned All-Mid-South Conference First Team in 2018 as well as Defensive Player of the Week one time.

The Phoenix Wide Receiver, Denarius Toliver, has garnered All-Mid-South Conference Second Team selection his sophomore and junior campaigns. Toliver has racked up over 1000 receiving yards in his three seasons at Cumberland and has brought in 9 touchdown catches and also has one rushing touchdown on a 67 yard run against Ave Maria last season.

The game will take place at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga., on Saturday, December 14, 2019, a week prior to the 2019 NAIA Football National Championship in Ruston, La.

The Phoenix 2019 football season will begin on September 7th vs Cincinnati Christian at Nokes-Lasater Field at 1:30 PM.
