Hopkinsville product inks with Phoenix men

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s basketball coach Jeremy Lewis announced the signing of Hopkinsville, Ky., native James Nicholas to scholarship papers this week for the 2019-20 academic year.

Nicholas earned All-Region and All-State honors all four seasons for coaches Tim Hawerth and Larry Miller at Hopkinsville High School, averaging 14.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists as a senior for the Tigers. He also garnered three academic awards for a 3.50 grade-point-average and higher at HHS.

He is the son of James Nicholas and Lavenia Pollard.
