LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2014 Fall Dean’s List this past week, which includes 130 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who have achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the fall semester.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University Director of Athletics Ron Pavan announced the hiring of Jim Seckel as the head coach for men’s and women’s cross country. Seckel has served as the cross country and distance track coach at Franklin Road Academy for the last two years.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Sophomore Garang Madut finished 37th and junior Keaton Gaffney placed 38th, leading the Cumberland cross country teams at the Mid-South Conference Championships on Saturday at Earl Thomas Conley Riverside Park in Portsmouth, Ohio.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Four Cumberland cross country runners – David Cheers, Keaton Gaffney, Chelsea Reeves and Alesa Steiner – were named Mid-South Conference Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the league office Friday.
