Men's Cross Country place 5th In Friendship Invitational

LEBANON, Tenn.- Cumberland’s Men Cross County came in 5th place Saturday at the Friendship Invitational in Cedarville, Ohio.

Junior Joel Barlow led the team in the men’s 8K coming in 23rd place out of 114 runners with a time of 26:39.3. As well as freshman Denis Kiplagat coming in at 31st place with a time of 27:07.7.

Junior Seth Vaquero posted a time of 27:39.4 coming in 40th place, Senior Jerry Rojas placed 56th with a time of 28:15.2, while freshman Daniel Tarus came in 74th place with a time of 29:40.2.

Freshman Kevin Griffin finish 79th with a time of 30:20.5, Junior Carlos Angeles came in 86th place with a time of 31:10.6

Cumberland posted a score of 144 points helping beat University of the Cumberlands and Thomas More in conference, resulting in 5th place out of 10 teams.
