LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2015 Fall Dean’s List this week, which includes 142 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the fall semester.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s golf is tied for 24th in the latest edition of the Bushnell Golfweek NAIA Coaches Poll, as announced last Friday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Junior Zach Johnson and sophomore Austin Williams each shot one-over par 73 for the Cumberland men’s golf team Monday at The Fall Roundup at Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky. Tuesday’s final round was canceled due to continuous rain in the area.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Ryan Botts shot six-under par 66 to win by five shots over teammate and freshman Travis Bumbalough, who posted one-under 71, and Cumberland won the team event by 15 shots on Friday at Saddle Creek Golf Club in Lewisburg, Tenn.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland golf coach Rich Williams announced the signing of Hendersonville, Tenn., native Jacob Nolen to scholarship papers this week for the 2016-17 academic year. Nolen is the second signee for the Bulldogs for next season.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Ryan Botts shot even-par 72, tying for the second lowest round of the day, to won individual medalist honors and Cumberland held on for a two-shot victory in the team event as well on Friday at the Mid-South Conference Fall Invitational at Elks Country Club in Portsmouth, Ohio.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Zach Polston, Peyton Broyles and Ryan Botts were the only three players to shoot under par, carding rounds of five, three and one-under par, respectively, and the Bulldogs shot 286 as a team to lead by 10 shots after the opening round of the Mid-South Conference Fall Invitational at Elks Country Club in Portsmouth, Ohio.
