LEBANON, Tenn. – Junior Ryan Botts carded a one-over par 73 to finish fifth and sophomore Ian Whittemore shot 76,leading the Cumberland men’s golf team to a fourth-place showing on Tuesday at the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational at Stone Crest Golf Club in Prestonsburg, Ky.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Zach Polston shot even-par 72 and tied for second, sophomore Zach Johnson tied for eighth with a one-over par 73 and Cumberland finished third among 11 teams on Tuesday at the Trevecca Spring Invitational at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Zach Polston carded a three-under par 69 to take a one-shot lead over teammate Zach Kean and two others and Cumberland posted a school-record two-under par 286 (on a par-72 course) and stands in second place after the opening round of the Trevecca Spring Invitational on Monday at Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tenn.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland freshman Zach Polston was voted the Mid-South Conference Men’s Golf Player of the Week on Monday after taking individual medalist honors and helping the Bulldogs win the Battle for the Ridge last week in Bartlett, Tenn.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2014 Fall Dean’s List this past week, which includes 130 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who have achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the fall semester.
