MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Cumberland University men’s golf closed the NAIA Memphis Shootout strong today, moving up one spot to take second place on the final leaderboard.
LEBANON, Tenn.-- The Phoenix are currently sitting in third place after Day One of the NAIA Memphis Shootout featuring 19 teams. The Phoenix carded a 592 collectively, putting them 25 strokes behind first place Dalton State and only three strokes behind conference rival Lindsey Wilson.

Teams must have a 3.00 cumulative grade-point-average or higher for all eligible varsity student-athletes during the past academic year to be eligible for the award.
