LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University’s Austin Garrett and Dustin Thomas both earned All-TranSouth Conference honors by finishing in the top six plus ties, as announced at the conclusion of the conference tournament on Tuesday.
ATHENS, Ala. – Sophomore Austin Garrett recorded three birdies and shot a one-over par 73, finishing fourth and leading the Cumberland men’s golf team on Tuesday in the final round of the TranSouth Championships here at Canebrake Golf Club. CU finished fourth in the team standings among the eight teams in the tournament.

Teams must record a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution to be eligible for the award.
