LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University soccer coaches Jeff Loucks and Gavin McKinney announced their 2012 schedules this week, which nine home matches for both the men and the women at Lindsey Donnell Stadium-Kirk Field.
Cumberland’s men open the 2012 season with a home match against Tennessee Wesleyan on August 25 and takes on Martin Methodist at home on September 11 before opening conference play on Sept. 14 versus the University of Rio Grande. CU also hosts Mid-South Conference opponents the University of the Cumberlands, Georgetown College, St. Catharine College and Shawnee State as well as nonconference foes Union College and Mid-Continent University.
The Bulldogs face Trevecca Nazarene, Brescia University, Oakland City University and Union University on the road as well as Mid-South teams Campbellsville University, Lindsey Wilson, Bluefield College and the University of Pikeville.
The women also host Tennessee Wesleyan and Martin Methodist and will play a pair of matches in a tournament in McKenzie, Tenn., against Midland College and the University of Science and Arts. They also play at Bryan College and Union University and face Bethel University at home on October 7.
Mid-South Conference home and road matches are the same for both clubs.
