LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland junior Antonio Manuel Marcelo was named an ITA All-American for the second straight year recently by the national governing body of collegiate tennis, one of 31 men’s players honored by the ITA.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2014 Spring Semester Dean’s List last week, which includes 137 current and former student-athletes and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who have achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Antonio Manuel Marcelo and Pablo Borrero were ranked in singles and Marcelo and Pedro Rodrigues earned a ranking in doubles in the final ITA NAIA College Tennis Rankings of the year released Friday. The NAIA singles and doubles rankings consist of the nation's Top 50 singles players and Top 25 doubles teams.


Men's tennis finishes season ranked sixth nationally

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University ended the season ranked sixth in the NAIA Men’s Tennis Coaches’ Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced this week. The No. 6 ranking this season for the club is the highest in program history.

LEBANON, Tenn. – A record 131 current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 172nd Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall on the CU campus. NAIA honors 13 Bulldog programs

LEBANON, Tenn. – A record 13 Cumberland University programs were honored as NAIA Scholar Teams over the weekend. Teams must post a minimum 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution and the team GPA includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
