2008-09 (FRESHMAN): Tallied 4-8 record in 12 singles competitions, mostly at Nos. 4 and 5, and 5-7 doubles mark, including 4-5 when paired with Na’im Azhar … Defeated Austin Peay’s Bret Shaw and Aaron Ngiam from the Univ. of the Cumberlands, both in straight sets … Lost both matches at No. 1 doubles with Johannes Jonsson and won only matches with Felipe Oliveira … Played all nine matches with Azhar at No. 2, losing first two against the Univ. of the Cumberlands and Eastern Kentucky and the final three to Martin Methodist, Georgetown and Bethel … Won four straight in the middle, including victories over Sewanee’s Phillip Kuntz and Jeff Lepley and Lake Land College’s Chad Melcher and Lee Beuhnerkemper.
