Cumberland records 11 Top Five finishes in Invitational

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.- The Cumberland Track and Field competed in the indoor season on Friday and Saturday, competing inside the ETSU/MSHA Athletic Center at the ETSU Track and Field Invitational.

Cumberland in third place for MSC President's Cup

LEBANON, Tenn.- Cumberland Athletics sits in third place for the Mid-South Conference President's Cup after the completion of the fall sports. Cumberland is trailing Lindsey Wilson and University of the Cumberlands.



Nyamadi hired as Assistant Track and Field Coach

LEBANON, Tenn.- Cumberland Head Track and Field Coach Mardy Scales announced the hiring of Atsu Nyamadi this week. Nyamadi spent last season working at Florida A&M University as the Multis, Jumps and Throwing coach.


132 student-athletes, athletic trainers named to Spring 2019 Dean's List

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University released a list of students who qualified for the Dean’s List for the Spring 2019 semester, with 132 student-athletes and athletic trainers achieving a 3.50 grade-point-average and above on all classes attempted for the semester.

Shimukowa takes third for Phoenix men at NAIA Championships

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Charles Shimukowa placed third in the 800-meter finals and junior Bumnene Ndebele finished 13th in the triple jump this weekend at the 68th Annual NAIA Men’s Track and Field Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala.
