Huntsville's Pierce inks with CU volleyball
Huntsville's Jordan Pierce signed scholarship papers with CU men's volleyball for the 2018-19 academic year.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s volleyball coach Scott Barbe announced the signing of Huntsville, Ala., native Jordan Pierce to scholarship papers this week for the 2018-19 academic year, the ninth Phoenix signee for next season.

Pierce lettered in basketball, tennis, bowling and soccer at Madison County High School in Huntsville, winning the county championship in tennis all four years at MCHS. He is the son of Joe and Laurie Pierce.

Pierce joins Brandon Coons (Lafayette, Tenn.), Mason Chambers (Lebanon, Tenn.), Jaret Knight (Huntersville, N.C.), Jaycob Holmgren (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), Rylan Tillman (Long Beach, Calif.), Arthur Anorim (Dunwoody, Ga.), Stephan Davis (Spring Hill, Tenn.) and Christian Lester (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) in this year’s recruiting class.
