Men's volleyball signs California native Taylor
Cerritos, Calif., native John Taylor inked scholarship papers with CU men's volleyball for the 2018-19 academic year.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland men’s volleyball coach Scott Barbe announced the signing of Cerritos, Calif., native John Taylor to scholarship papers for the 2018-19 academic year, the 10th Phoenix signee for next season.

Taylor attends Gahr High School in Cerritos and plays for coach Iris Najera. He is the son of Johnny and Sherri Taylor.

Taylor joins Jordan Pierce (Huntsville, Ala.), Brandon Coons (Lafayette, Tenn.), Mason Chambers (Lebanon, Tenn.), Jaret Knight (Huntersville, N.C.), Jaycob Holmgren (Highlands Ranch, Colo.), Rylan Tillman (Long Beach, Calif.), Arthur Anorim (Dunwoody, Ga.), Stephan Davis (Spring Hill, Tenn.) and Christian Lester (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) in this year’s recruiting class.
