LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland softball coach Heather Stanfill announced dates for nine summer camps this week, including clinic for hitting, pitching and all skills and one specifically for high school players.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland softball coach Heather Stanfill announced the signing of Manchester, Tenn., native Kinsey Wilder to scholarship papers this week for the 2016-17 academic year. Wilder becomes the 12th CU signee for next season.

LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and sixteen current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 174th Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall. It marks the fourth straight year of more than 100 graduates for athletic department student-athletes and personnel.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kassydi Montgomery hit a three-run homer in the first, but Bailey Mize drove in three runs and sixth-ranked Lindsey Wilson plated three runs in the sixth to take the lead for good in a 6-3 victory over Cumberland here Sunday in an elimination game in the Mid-South Conference Softball Championships at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville’s Victoria Decker induced 13 ground ball outs and the fourth-ranked Tigers used a six-run fourth inning to break open a scoreless game en route to a 9-2 victory over Cumberland in the winner’s bracket final here Saturday in the Mid-South Conference Softball Championships at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Madison Gonzalez posted three more hits and four RBIs and Nicole Pratt tossed her first complete game of the season, giving up two runs in six innings and Cumberland knocked off sixth-ranked Lindsey Wilson, 10-5, in the second round of the Mid-South Conference Softball Championships here Friday at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

Buchanon Park.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Jocelyn Hernandez, Kassydi Montgomery, Tessa Tomaselli, Madison Gonzalez, Imani Torregano and Vienna Benavides were all voted Second Team All-Mid-South Conference in a vote of league coaches announced during a banquet here Wednesday night in advance of the conference tournament that begins Friday.
