LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University softball coach Heather Stanfill announced the signing of Lebanon native Paige Robinson to scholarship papers this week for the 2017-18 academic year. Robinson becomes the ninth Phoenix signee for next season.
Robinson lettered four years at Wilson Central High School for coach Shawn Smith, batting .333 as a senior. She will graduate with honors in the Top 10 percent of her class at WCHS later this month. She is the daughter of Cliff and Kathy Robinson.
Robinson joins Kayla Rainey (Madison, Tenn.), Brice Dabbs (Lebanon, Tenn.), Keyley Caplinger (Auburntown, Tenn.), Callie Perkins (Huntland, Tenn.), Hope Titchbourne (Bozeman, Mont.), Sydney Adkins (LaFayette, Ga.), Ashley Faught (Union City, Tenn.) and Shelby Phelps (Owensboro, Ky.) in this year’s recruiting class.
