NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Fifth-seeded Cumberland University fell behind early and couldn’t climb out of the hole against host Trevecca Nazarene University downed the Bulldogs, 3-1, in the quarterfinals of the TranSouth Championships at the Trojan Softball Complex Thursday, sending CU to the losers’ bracket and setting up a matchup against Bethel University.
