Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other pertinent information about the nominee. Nine squads earn NAIA Scholar Team honors

LEBANON, Tenn. – The NAIA honored nine Cumberland athletic squads Friday as NAIA Scholar Teams for the 2015-16 academic year. Teams must obtain a 3.00 cumulative grade-point-average or higher for all eligible varsity student-athletes during the past academic year to garner the award.
