Eight women's volleyball players earn Academic All-MSC accolades

LEBANON, Tenn. – Eight Cumberland women’s volleyball players were named Academic All-Mid-South Conference , as announced Tuesday by the league office in advance of the conference tournament that begins Thursday in Bowling Green, Ky.

Student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.25 grade-point-average to be eligible for the award. Seniors Sara Glassman and Kara Snell, juniors Raegan Moeller, Masa Nalovic and Lyssette Serna and sophomores Madison Dinwiddie, Keri Litchford and Kelvi Williams were all named to the squad.

Moeller posts a 4.00 GPA in Physical Education and Athletic Coaching while Dinwiddie carries a 3.97 in Child Growth and Learning and Glassman has a 3.79, also in Child Growth and Learning. Snell holds a 3.70 in Marketing, Nalovic has a 3.69 in Business Administration and Williams registers a 3.66 in Biochemistry. Litchford is undecided with a 3.53 GPA and Serna holds a 3.28 in Exercise and Sports Science.

Cumberland plays the University of the Cumberlands at 2:30 p.m. CT in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Championships on Thursday in Bowling Green.
