Goodpasture's Johnson inks with CU volleyball
Goodpasture's Tori Johnson signed scholarship papers with CU women's volleyball for the 2019-20 academic year.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland women's volleyball coach Kathy Slaughter announced the signing of Hendersonville, Tenn., native Tori Johnson to scholarship papers this week for the 2019-20 academic year.

Johnson was named District IV MVP as well as All-District, All-District Tournament and All-Middle Region as a senior at Goodpasture Christian School. She also garnered District IV MVP accolades as a junior and All-District Tournament recognition as a sophomore for coach Lynn Dearing. The Cougars won state championships during her freshman and sophomore campaigns.

Johnson finished her career at Goodpasture with 725 kills, 159 service aces, 572 digs, 108 blocks and 688 assists. She is the daughter of Derrick Johnson and Chianta Vaughn.
