LEBANON, Tenn. – Georgetown College put together a 12-0 run at the beginning of the third quarter to take the lead and the Tigers stretched their lead to 12 later in the period, taking control and sending 19th-ranked Cumberland to its fifth straight defeat, 69-56, in women’s basketball action here Thursday night at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center.
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Nicole Bowers collected her 12th double-double of the season with 18 points and 12 rebounds, but 19th-ranked Cumberland shot 21 percent from the field in the second half and committed 16 turnovers in the contest in a 60-47 loss to the University of the Cumberlands here Saturday in women’s basketball action.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Senior Nicole Bowers was named to the CoSIDA College Division Academic All-District® 2 women’s basketball team, as announced Thursday by the national organization. Bowers is now entered into the pool of candidates for the CoSIDA Academic All-America team.
