Women's hoops inks Macon County's Coley

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University women’s basketball coach Jeremy Lewis announced the signing of Macon County product Calamity Jane Coley to scholarship papers for the 2012-13 academic year. Coley is the third signee for next season for the Bulldogs.

Gonzalez named NAIA Scholar-Athlete

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland senior Tamara Gonzalez was named a Daktronics NAIA National Scholar-Athlete this week, as announced by the national office. Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 or above grade-point-average to be eligible for the award.
