Four women's players earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors

LEBANON, Tenn. – Four Cumberland women’s basketball players – Anna Worley, Briana Vandlen, Cassaundra Whitworth and Katherine Griffith – were named 2019 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced during the national championships in Billings, Mont.

Student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average and be a junior or senior academically to be eligible for the award.

Griffith holds a 3.76 grade-point-average in Biology/Biochemistry, Worley posts a 3.70 in Business Administration and Whitworth carries a 3.65 in Sports Management. Vandlen has a 3.60 in Management.
