LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and twenty-five current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 175th Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall. It marks the fifth straight year of more than 100 graduates for athletic department student-athletes and personnel.
LEBANON, Tenn. – The Cumberland University Athletic Department is accepting nominations for the Class of 2017 Sports Hall of Fame until Monday, April 3. Nominations must be made in writing and include full justification for the nomination, including statistics, honors, awards and any other pertinent information about the nominee. The 2017 Hall of Fame dinner is set for Friday, October 6, at 6 p.m. in Baird Chapel.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University released the Dean’s List for Fall 2016 last week with 133 student-athletes and athletic training majors recognized. The honor is reserved for undergraduate students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland posted its best finishes at the conference championships – fourth for the men and fifth for the women – since the program was revived and Garang Madut, Riley Kilian and Claudia Tepox all earned Second Team All-Mid-South Conference honors, as announced by the league this past weekend.
