LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland moved up four spots as a team to 22nd on another inclement-weather filled day at the 23rd Annual NAIA Women’s Golf Championships at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on Thursday. Teams completed the second round after a six-and-a-half hour weather delay.

Cumberland completed its first round and finished its second round of play on Wednesday, but more than half of the field did not complete its second round.
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland women’s golf received an at-large berth into the 23rd Annual NAIA Championships set for May 23-26 in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., as announced late Thursday by the national office. It marks the first-ever appearance for the program as a team in the national tournament.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Cumberland’s Abbey Burgdorf earned First Team All-Mid-South Conference honors, Raquel Romero Valverde, Savanna Strode and Morgan Stuckey were named Second Team All-MSC, Rich Williams was voted Co-Coach of the Year and Delaney Lazenby garnered the Champions of Character award for women’s golf, as announced by the league office at the conclusion of last week’s conference tournament in Bowling Green, Ky.
