100 student-athletes named to Spring Dean's List

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2015 Spring Dean’s List recently, which includes 100 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.


Cleveland signs with CU golf

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland golf coach Rich Williams announced the signing of Lebanon native Anna Leigh Cleveland to scholarship papers this week for the 2015-16 academic year. Cleveland becomes the fourth signee for the Bulldogs for the coming season.


Hogan, Legge named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland golfers Katie Legge and Quincy Hogan were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the national office at the conclusion of the national championships last week. Student-athletes must be a junior or senior academically and maintain a 3.50 grade-point-average to be eligible for the award.


Legge voted Academic All-District

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Katie Legge was voted College Division Academic All-District 2 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), as announced Thursday by the national organization.


110 current, former student-athletes set for graduation

LEBANON, Tenn. – One hundred and ten current and former Cumberland student-athletes, athletic trainers and athletic staff will receive their degrees this Saturday in the 173rd Commencement ceremonies on the lawn of Memorial Hall on the CU campus.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland women’s golf is ranked 25th in the latest NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll released by the national office. The Bulldogs dropped one spot from 24th from the Preseason Coaches’ Poll released in November.

As a team the Bulldogs placed sixth out of 11 schools in their first competition of the spring.
