Wrestling adds another signee
LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland wrestling coach Jarad Swint announced the signing of Andrew Madden to scholarship papers for the 2010-11 academic year. Madden is the second Bulldog wrestling signee for next season.
The Bremen, Ga., native was the 2008 state champion at 140 pounds and won the 2010 state title at 160 pounds for coach Tony Armas at Bremen High School. He is a four-year letterwinner for the Blue Devils and helped the squad win the Class A Team Duals this season as well.
Madden has more than 200 career victories at BHS, has placed in the state meet three times and been a finalist on three occasions. He is the son of Linn Madden and Kerry Madden.
