LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland will face Martin Methodist at Noon on Saturday in the NAIA Women’s Soccer Championship Opening Round in Pulaski, Tenn., as announced by both schools on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs and RedHawks will meet with the winner advancing to the Round of 16 in Orange Beach, Fla., which begins November 26. Martin Methodist, the No. 9 seed in the 31-team bracket, defeated CU, 2-1, in Lebanon on September 6 this season. MMC is making its ninth consecutive national tournament appearance and it playing at home in the opening round in the fifth straight year.
Cost for the match is $5 per person. Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs to the field, which is located on MMC’s East Campus.
