Bulldogs ink another Edmonton area player
Dayle Weslosky signed scholarship papers with the Bulldogs for the 2013 season.

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland women’s soccer coach Gavin McKinney announced the signing of Edmonton, Alberta, native Dayle Weslosky to scholarship papers for the 2013 season. Weslosky is the third signee for next season for the club.

Weslosky played three seasons at Archbishop O’Leary High School in Edmonton for coach Ross Ongaro, the father of former CU player Katie Ongaro. Current Bulldogs Reneé LaRose and Lindsay Kitson also played at Archbishop O’Leary. She earned a pair of Academic honors as a sophomore and junior.

The 5-foot-6 attacking player also ran track in high school, winning city championships in the triple jump and long jump as a sophomore and as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that placed second.

She is the daughter of Wally and Carla Weslosky and her sister, Perri, plays soccer at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. She is the third signee for the Bulldogs for next season, joining Kiley Sanson and Olivia Chu.
