LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland’s Rebecca Holloway recorded three goals and three assists in three matches for the Phoenix, earning Mid-South Conference Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honors on Monday, as announced by the league office.

The Bristol, England, native assisted on an Emily Shires goal in the 66th minute that evened the match against 18th-ranked John Brown University on Monday. The junior midfielder scored the first and last goals and assisted on another in a win at Brenau University, posting goals in the fifth and 88th minutes and helping on Mariah Aplin’s score in the 69th minute.

Holloway added a goal and an assist in a home victory against Point University, helping on Aplin’s score in the last 10 seconds of the first half and netting a goal in the 51st minute from Kaitlen Kisiloski. She has three goals and four assists in four outings this season.

Cumberland’s match on Wednesday against Indiana Wesleyan has been moved to Friday, September 22 at 1 p.m. because of torrential rain and strong winds coming through the middle Tennessee area over the next two days thanks to remnants of Hurricane Irma.
