Women's Soccer Moves up to 22nd in NAIA Polls

LEBANON, Tenn. - Cumberland moved up one spot to No. 22 in this week's NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, announced by the national office.

The Phoenix played two games this past week at home, winning the first game against Mount Vernon Nazarene, 1-0 in an intense overtime showcase. Cumberland then fought for a 3-0 victory over the Dalton State College Roadrunners.

The team currently is ranked 11th nationally in total shutouts with five on the season. Goalkeeper Michaela Hawthorn has collected 45 saves on the season while Marie Bathe leads the team with five goals and four assist.
