100 student-athletes named to Spring Dean's List

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland University announced the 2015 Spring Dean’s List recently, which includes 100 student-athletes, athletic department personnel and athletic training majors. The honor is reserved for students who achieved a grade-point-average of 3.50 or above on all classes attempted during the spring semester.


Sepulveda ends season ranked 29th in singles

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland junior Angelica Sepulveda ended the season ranked 29th nationally in singles in the final Oracle/ITA National NAIA Rankings of the 2014-15 season published Thursday, unveiling the top 50 national singles players and top 25 national doubles teams in NAIA men's and women's tennis.


Women's tennis ends year ranked 18th

LEBANON, Tenn. – Cumberland ended the year ranked 18th in the 2015 NAIA Women’s Tennis Coaches’ Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced. The Bulldogs were ranked between 18 and 25 in seven of the nine polls through the 2015 season.

Twelve CU programs named NAIA Scholar Teams

LEBANON, Tenn. – A school-record 12 Cumberland programs were recognized this week as 2013-14 NAIA Scholar Teams. To be eligible, teams must post a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution, with the team GPA including all eligible varsity student-athletes.
